We think Saphir makes the best shoe care products on the planet. Mink oil and seal oil make this a fantastic, unpigmented conditioner for calfskin — once or twice a year, use a cloth to work in a very tiny amount on the vamp and other prominent creases to soften the leather and prevent cracking. Also excellent for weatherproofing outdoor boots (but not dress shoes) and oiling chromexcel. Note that this product is only for calfskin; you won’t need it for cordovan or suede.
